So then, after tonights (11/05/05) demolition by arsenal, do you still wanna see the everton rejects come across to elland road.
why would you welcome someone who concedes 7 goals in one game.
WE DON'T NEED PREMIERSHIP REJECTS WHO ARE OVER PAID AND TOO OLD.
WHETHER OR NOT THEY HAVE THE EXPERIENCE, THEY DON'T HAVE THE LEGS.
youth is our only option to exploit this division. they will pick up invaluable experience playing regularly in the championship as have lennon, and walton.
we should be looking at the lower leagues for startlets who can provide an excellent service and who show no fear. all they want is to play football.
we could save on wages, because all david weir wants is his last major contract which he knows we'll give him, and what has gary naysmith ever done for football. he cant break into a team who get trounced on by a team 2 places above them.
blackwell should be scouting the academys of big clubs.
look at man city and boro, they have handfuls of young talent at their disposal, who are unable to be given a consistent run in the first team because of over-paid, unprofessional foreigners.
jordan at city, downing, graham at boro, rehman at fulham are all examples of these talents which could be a possibility for blackwell.
ok, i'm not saying we shouldn't have anyone over 25, but please don't try and tell me we dont have better options out there which could financially suit leeds united
hull and sunderland are but a few who have managed to bring in youngsters and use them to their advantage in order to gain promotions from their respective leagues!
please, please, PLEASE Bates and Blackwell, dont bring in the 'oldies' who just want to use us for our reputation and money!
phew!!!
