This is a shorten article which I found last year in the [glow=red,2,300]www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/SportsArchive[/glow] website which I would like to share with all: Tony is back home after a glorious career in Europe. At the moment, he is investing in the hospitality industry, He is puting up hotel in Accra which will be completed by the end of the year. He has started helping some of the promising footballers in the local league. According to him he has already recommended a former Kotoko striker, Isaac Boakye to a team in Germany, Belefeid and he is doing well. He has scored four goals in four matches and Tony describes Boakye’s feet as outstanding. He also has plans to form a football team to groom players to improve the standard of play in the country. Tony said he was shy and did not make friends at first sight. He insists that he was friendly and approachable and not arrogant as some people perceive. Great to know my football icon is doing well...

Yup, as we know, most parts of Africa are still in the 3rd world. The fortunate footballers who get their chance to ply their trade in Europe never forgets their homeland.
They include Shaka Hislop, Shaun Barlett to name a few and wait, of cos...... our own Lucas Radebe as well! ;D
