as a leeds fan (or know a bit about the club) you'll know that we should play with a 4-4-2 system, i dont know why but it works best for us. This season due to injuries, no players, suspension etc etc we've had a 4-3-3 system. Now we've had a few new arrivals we're able to convert back yay

Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell is considering a change of formation now that he has managed to strengthen his squad with the arrival of Michael Gray and Rob Hulse in the last week.
Blackwell has been playing a 4-3-3 formation, largely due to the lack of any natural wingers and a target man for David Healy to play alongside, but that could change now he has the two new signings on board as he hints at returning to 4-4-2.
The boss insists that the current system has its merits though, as just two defeats in the last 11 games suggests, but he is keen to play David Healy in a more central role upfront, probably with on-loan Baggies hitman Hulse.
"As a manager and coach you want to be able to adopt systems that you feel can get you results and I have had to change from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 to get us results with the personnel we have got," explained the United manager.
"Now with Michael (Gray)and Rob (Hulse) coming in it definitely does open up the situation for me to go 4-4-2, and that's the first time such an option has been allowed to me since Stephen Crainey got injured five months ago.
"I have had to go 4-3-3 because of the situation but with Michael in it will allow me to push Danny Pugh further up and release David Healy.
"I was reluctant to do that with Frazer and Danny Pugh playing on the left hand side with no experience. We did that against Wigan and we came unstuck. So I wasn't prepared to go down that route until I got the right man and Michael is an experienced defender.
"I am not blessed with any creative wide players, therefore David Healy has had to go an sit in that role, Frazer Richardson has had to play at left-back for part of the season, then as a right-back he's played on the right wing, whilst Simon Walton has played midfield.
"Now if you can get the players in that you want and play the systems you want then it's great, and that's what I am looking at doing."
Blackwell was delighted with Michael Gray's debut against Burnley last week, pointing out the difference his experience made to the team.
"Michael fitted in as if he had been here all season, he kept the ball better for us and we had better build up play. We looked an accomplished team.
"We're building the club, we have to add three or four more players and this is the start of something. You look at the team out there and it's a team you can build on. We just need to keep adding experience in the right places.
"Come the end of the season, let's see where we are and then we will know what we have to do."
