Is anyone else on the forum a member of standupsitdown
Stand Up Sit Down has been set up to campaign for a solution to these issues.
The aim is to restore supporter’s choice as to whether they stand or sit to watch football, by agreeing areas where standing will be accepted.
We want at least one area of each ground to selected for supporters to be allowed to stand in front of their allocated seats. Our proposals will actually improve safety over the current situation by restricting standing to the most suitable areas.

ok, i agree with you on the bit about there should be standing areas, but i must say that you kind of loose the plot when you say "stand in front of their allocated seat" this is soooooooooo dangerous. Anybody in the middle section of the leeds fans at the san siro will tell you. If you standing in front of a seat and you get nugded from behind to go flying, this in turns makes the person in front of you fall forward, all this leads to a domino affect with the people at the bottom of the stands been crushed. NOT A GOOD IDEA
