Well it looks as though he may unfortuanatley be on his way. This appear on the LUFC website today,
United's under-21 international Scott Carson is undergoing a medical this morning after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Liverpool for the keeper.
Liverpool won a two horse race with Chelsea also interested in the 19-year-old but Liverpool was always the player's first choice once it became clear he was not going to agree a new deal at Elland Road.
Carson also made it clear he would prefer to move to Anfield with his desire to play first team football being more important to him than financial reward.
United spokesman Bryan Morris said: “We wish Scott the very best at his new club. He has proven himself to be a top class keeper during his time at Leeds United and we are sure he will continue to impress at Anfield.
“His steady nerve in pressure situations and his professionalism on and off the pitch will ensure that he has a bright future ahead of him.”<br> With Chris Kirkland out injured for most of the season and Jerzy Dudek's form has been called into question after a series of recent blunders, Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has been targeting a new stopper and Carson has been top of his list for some time

i dont think he could have stayed even he he wanted too. I know we offered him a new contract but if you ask me that was so we would have three years to get teams to pay top dollar instead of letting him go for reletivly chaply.

its slack from the club, somebody mustve noticed his contract was up in the summer and the club left it too late to offer a new one. Typical leeds.
Interested to know what the fee is, as hes under 21 we wouldve got compensation from his next club if he had left at the end of his contract.

we've got £750,000 but with appearences it could go up to £1 million. According to Chris Kamara a club offered us £1.5 million but we took too long in answering them so they dropped it.

not 2 bad a price but i think maybe the 1.5 would have been a more fair offer.
how many appearances does he have to make to get the 250k?

Carson has just made his full debut in a 1-0 defeat at St James' Park. A trademark Laurent Robert's freekick left him stranded. He hardly had a save to make in the game doh.
