final qualifiying positions:
1 K Raikkonen (McLaren) 2:42.880 2 F Alonso (Renault) 2:43.441 3 J Button (BAR) 2:44.105 4 M Webber (Williams) 2:44.511 5 J Trulli (Toyota) 2:44.518 6 T Sato (BAR) 2:44.658 7 A Wurz (McLaren) 2:44.689 8 F Massa (Sauber) 2:44.930 9 N Heidfeld (Williams) 2:45.196 10 R Barrichello (Ferrari) 2:45.243 11 R Schumacher (Toyota) 2:45.416 12 J Villeneuve (Sauber) 2:46.259 13 G Fisichella (Renault) 2:46.710 14 M Schumacher (Ferrari) 2:47.244 15 D Coulthard (Red Bull) 2:48.070 16 V Liuzzi (Red Bull) 2:48.155 17 N Karthikeyan (Jordan) 2:52.099 18 T Monteiro (Jordan) 2:54.252 19 P Friesacher (Minardi) 2:57.048 20 C Albers (Minardi) accident
look like kimi managed to put in a gud 2nd lap and beat alonso by nearly 1/2 sec. button and webber have done well and are starting on the 2nd row which is gud news. Best news has to be that schumacher is still struggling this season and will start down in 14th

its the first time we've seen him go defensive this year and he passed with flying colours, me thinks he may be a champion in waiting.

he retired mid-way through the race, can't remember the exact reason if sumone wants to post wot it woz.
also there may be a change of 8th place if an appeal fails from toyota.
BBC Website: 'But Ralf was subsequently penalised 25 seconds for a pitstop incident, which will promote Williams' Nick Heidfeld to eighth if a Toyota appeal fails.'
