Well its coming up to christmas and Everton are second in the league. I can't help wondering how much of this is due to selling Rooney. Everton are all about hard work and too be honest Rooney dosnt offer that. What do you think?

nope, one player dont make a difference to the whole team, they have just got the team to work together very well this season, i think they may be a couple of points closer to chelsea if rooney woz still there

Yeah I think they are, they relied on him too much and now they don't have any one player hugely in the spotlight they are playing as a team and working hard because they know only playing well as a team and forcing the ball over the line will get them the points.

every team always needs a big player in the side to provide inspiration wen its needed and a team is losing, i kno thats wot the captain is for but sumtimes they aint quite the high profile thats needed. look how he did it for england in euro 2004 wen beckham wozn't leadin by example

Sry casey my comment was aimed at the poll not you fella i think everton are doing better becuase of the team as a whole. gravasen and carsly dominating the midfield is a major factor to their success so far this season
