United assistant manager Sam Ellis has agreed a new 12 month extension to his contract at Elland Road.
The 59-year-old joined the club after leaving Burnley last June and played a vital role last season in helping to stabilise the club in the Championship.
Ellis, who has held managerial positions at Lincoln, Bury and Blackpool, initially arrived on a one year deal.
Meanwhile two new members of staff have begun work with United.
Norbert Pinchler has been appointed to the position of Catering Director and will have overall responsibility for the clubs Conference & Banqueting operation.
Ali Royston has taken up her position as Head of Football Administration based at Thorp Arch.
Good news then he should help Blackwell run things wisely for another 12 months at least
