Heidfeld gets second chance
Heidfeld boosted his chances of a Williams race drive in 2005 after completing a successful test for the team at Jerez. But poor weather conditions, which meant he was unable to set comparable times with Antonio Pizzonia, have prompted the team into giving the German a second chance next week.

Good good, he deserves, maybe he wasnt quite good enough for McClaren but he'll bring experience to a new team

the british gp lives on "Silverstone will be the home of the British Grand Prix for the next five years after the circuit's owners agreed a new deal with Formula One officials.
The new arrangement helps end speculation surrounding the future of the British leg of the F1 season after it was left off the provisional calendar for the 2005 season.
However, it now appears F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone and the British Racing Drivers Club, who own the circuit, have managed to come to a deal to keep the race as part of the schedule.
Ecclestone insisted any deal to host a race at Silverstone had to be completed before the official 2005 calendar is due to be ratified by the governing International Automobile Federation's world motor sport council on Friday.
Sports minister Richard Caborn is believed to have played a big part in getting the two parties to end their stand-off that threatened to see Silverstone miss out on Grand Prix action in 2005.
"This is a great day for the future of the motor industry in the UK," stated Caborn.
"We have been working with the East Midlands Development Agency and the local authority to develop this industrial cluster at Silverstone and this should not only secure the long-term future of the all the teams operating out of the UK but will give the opportunity for others to join.
"This is consistent with the Government's policy of developing world-beating centres of excellence for manufacturing."

this is an amusing story but unfotrunately it is not about makin fun at michael schumacher Wurz in a tight spot at McLaren
Alex Wurz's future as a McLaren test driver is looking increasingly tenuous amid reports that he does not fit Adrian Newey's latest chassis. The lanky Austrian has admitted that when he first tried a mock-up model of the MP4/20 for size a month ago he realised he wouldn't be able to fit in the cockpit.
